How Financial Advisors Are Winning Clients Using Social Media

I interviewed Leslie Koh, an Associate Financial Services Manager at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore.

He has a strong online presence that’s why I decided to interview to him.

Here are some practical tips for content creation:

Selfless content doesnโ€™t include a sales pitch in it.

No matter how good a content is, if you are trying to sell something, it becomes tainted.

Sharing your values to your audience is a great way to create selfless content.

When others see that you share the same values, it can resonate you better and thatโ€™s how you build your online credibility.

Identify the common questions from your clients and prospects.

Find out the questions that your audience are asking on Facebook groups.

Create content out of these questions.

It adds value by helping them learn something new or understand things they didnโ€™t understand before.

It gives you more credibility too.

Creating content is a long game strategy. It is different from closing in sales.

It doesnโ€™t matter if you donโ€™t get a lot of engagement for every post.

Create content consistently no matter how many likes, shares, or comments you get.

What matters is that you are creating valuable content on a regular basis and you are also understanding how people consume your content.

It doesn’t mean if people don’t like, share, or comment your content, they donโ€™t consume your content.

Most of the time, people come to me and say that I have great content and they thank me for it.

This makes more sense than getting a lot of engagement for content thatโ€™s not valuable to your audience.

You should appreciate the people who engage with you and build relationships out of it.
